Last year, I used journals for our morning writing. We always talked about our topic the day before so when they got the school the next morning they knew what to do. Last year, I took regular composition notebooks to Office Depot and got them cut in half. If I had the primary journals it would be perfect. They have a space to draw at the top of the page and then write about their drawing at the bottom. These primary journals are ideal for my students! Writing is important and them writing daily in their journals will help them a lot. I am asking for more books them I have students because I am hoping the use up at least two notebooks this year. That is my goal.
