Currently, my students have access to technology through a computer specials class once a week for 40 minutes. Then, in the classroom we have technology through the use of a document camera and projector. Due to the low-income of my students, going home to use technology is not an option. The tablet donation will improve my students learning by allowing them to: search for and gather quality research, learn about selected standardize tasks, and learn and use technology that they otherwise would not have access to. Students in my classroom will use these tablets daily for all their subjects. My students will be able to use the tablets for all subjects. A few examples are as follows: In math, we will be playing interactive math games to learn quick math facts and algebraic operations. During reading each student will be able to read on a topic or subject that interests them and in turn will inspire a passion for literature. Your generous donation will allow my students to work collaboratively and individually to meet the goals and standards of learning.
