Hello! My name is Mrs. Jackson and I teach kindergarten in a small rural community in northwest Alabama. Our school is a Title I school with a large percentage on free or reduced lunches. Many of my students do not have the advantages of most children. Some do not know if they will have food from day to day at home or even a home to go to. I try to help the families of my disadvantaged students with food and necessities in addition to providing their child a fun, enjoyable and exciting learning environment full of hands-on experiences while at school. Funding is limited so most times I purchase the extras in my classroom to make it fun place to be for my students. Our energetic class of kinders will be thankful and grateful for any amount you can give to help provide needed materials for our little classroom of learners.
