Our school is brand new and we have no resources and supplies are few. These items will help get our school year started off in the right direction. These Scholastic News magazines are what you wished your teacher used! I've taught at other schools before and using Scholastic News is a great way to incorporate different language arts standards into real world problems and concepts. Dictionaries might seem out-dated but they teach our children meaningful skills on how to not ignore things that they don't know or understand but embrace them and create new knowledge about a forever changing world.
