Using flexible seating will give my students that choice to sit where they learn the best. They will have the opportunity to move around and decide where they sit throughout the day. Lap desks will provide students a place to work neatly and carefully, but comfortably. They can move the lap desks around the room using mats or pillows to sit on. Wiggle seats give students the ability to move quietly at their seats without disturbing their neighbors! Wobble stools, like the wiggle seats, provide students with the movement they need to focus on their learning without disturbing others around them. Not only does flexible seating help with students' focus on learning, but it also creates a sense of ownership and teamwork in the classroom as the students explore the best places to work and help their classmates do the same.
