My personal fitness class for high school students is a time that they can focus on their interests. The students challenge themselves and one another to go beyond their expectations! It's a good way to get them interested in life long fitness activities. Plus, it's a time they can just have fun. My classes have grown in size and I'm in need of replacement materials to accommodate them. Many of the items we have chosen are replacement materials to their favorite games and activities. My high school students are enthusiastic and love competing against one another as well as challenging themselves. They will use the incrediballs during our baseball unit and for eye-hand coordination. The bases are needed for baseball, softball and kickball units. We have bows but need arrows to be able to learn archery. They enjoy playing dodge ball many times throughout the year. We would like the large volleyball to be able to add to our volleyball unit. This grant will insure that we get to participate in those activities.
