Thank you so much for reading my Welcome Message! I am a middle school teacher that teaches English Language Arts to 7th graders. I have found that the biggest struggle in middle school is keeping their interest in reading alive. At this impressionable age, middle school students are beginning to find themselves as both individuals and learners. I encourage my students to search out their reading interest but it is often difficult when the choices of literature are limited due to funding issues. It is my hope to start a classroom library with up to date literature as well as classical literature for my middle school students to enjoy.
