I teach in a low income/high poverty school district. We are 100% free lunch. Many of my students come to school with little to no parent support. They love to come to school and work very hard. They have very few life experiences and love to learn about new people and places. For most of my students, technology is their best bet when it comes to exploring new people and places. I would love to provide more students the opportunity to have technology in their hands on a daily basis. We currently have 2 classroom computers and 3 iPads for 28 students. They only have Technology class one day a week and I think it would be wonderful for them to have daily opportunity to use technology for research, reading and STEM activities.
