I am a Title-One reading and math teacher working in a school district with a 73% poverty rate. I teach grades K-3. All of my students are eager learners. I believe that learning is and can be fun. They are excited when we play learning games, and work with manipulatives. I want to add to that excitement to keep them engaged and learning. With the implementation of Common Core, I want to ensure that I'm teaching my students the needed and necessary skills to make them successful.
