My students are curious and passionate about learning, and I absolutely love each of them. They have many dreams and aspirations but their lack of exposure to different experiences and daily necessities limits their dreams. Daily, I've tried to bring the world to them, enhancing their exploratory learning within the classroom. In addition, providing the things in my classroom that can help to bridge that gap, more so, helping them to experience and see that learning is exciting, and engaging. My hope is that each of them will leave me as life-long learners who are intrinsically motivated to take risks, advocate for themselves, to make a difference and leave a mark on the world. I encourage them to look pass their limitations and to dream big because the world is awaiting their greatness. While this starts within my classroom, I think the bigger vision starts with a school community.
