Having an opportunity to practice art skills with professional materials and supplies will encourage my students to create freely and think outside of the standard box. Already entering the art room with recognized talents and gifted abilities, my students are hungry to experience projects and materials on a higher level. The easels requested will be the first in the art room. Up until now, my students sketch, draw, and paint on top of crowded tables and floor space. Always working on a horizontal plane sometimes makes it difficult for students to practice perspective and dimension. Having easels will allow students to create work as it will be seen, and will encourage an understanding of the viewer's perspective.
