Easels are used constantly in primary classrooms. The easel currently in my room is not magnetic. It is big and bulky. It takes up a lot of room which reduces the amount of room I have for morning meeting. The ledge to hold big books is broken to the point it does not hold up books. In my classroom I have differentiated centers. This means I need a variety of things to display centers. This easel will be used as a center for making words and practicing writing sight words. It will also be used to write morning message as part of our morning meeting.
