There are currently NO school-owned music stands, so students are bringing their stands from home each day--which, you can imagine, doesn't always happen. They also need supplies/accessories such as mouthpieces and reeds to make actually playing instruments possible. This will be especially useful as I start the school year by fitting new students to their instruments! These supplies will greatly impact our MPCS students by allowing them to experience music in a more professional and exciting way! While students will ultimately be responsible for purchasing their own mouthpieces and reeds, these mouthpieces and reeds will be available to students as they try out different instruments and if they forget their own at home.
