My students are above grade level and finding appropriate but challenging books is always interesting. We participate in literature circles in my class to allow students to practice reading comprehension skills and strategies while diving deep into chapter books. The school I teach at is amazing and most of my students have a desire to learn and read when presented with interesting books. The challenge with literature circles is that I must have 7 copies of the book each group is reading to do them. Parents can't afford to buy all the books we need and the library doesn't have the funding nor the capacity to store large quantities of one title.
