My kindergarten students are so eager and so willing to learn. They are honestly like sponges soaking up every bit of information that is introduced to them. I get excited because they are excited! As their teacher, I want to enable every student in my classroom to learn as much as possible using all the meaningful resources I can. However, I do know though that many of students do not have access to resources that so many take for granted. I believe that the use of technology in my classroom is very important as resource for learning. While I am teaching small groups daily in reading and math at my table, the Kindles I am asking for would be so beneficial at our technology station. These devices can provide an abundance of opportunities for children to learn new skills in exciting ways. Because so many of my students have never had access to technology and all the resources available , the need for the Kindles is even more relevant. The use of technology will help them to see that learning is so much fun and will make them even more excited about learning new things!
