Kindergarten students are naturally inquisitive about the world around them. Spending time outside of our building, in our "outdoor classroom", students can engage with nature, collaborate with each other, and inquire about the world around them. By donating to this project, you will be providing materials for an outdoor classroom that will engage my students, and allow them to observe, write, and sketch about their findings. With a mobile cart, we can take everything with us on our journeys in nature. The clipboards, colored pencils, resource books and magnifying glasses give students access to materials that make them feel like a scientist.

About my class
