Does the way a student dresses impact how he feels? Is a child's academic effort impacted by her appearance? Can dressing professionally promote improved self-esteem as well as performance? I think YES! I believe that academic success is correlated to a student's self-esteem and mindset. My second graders are going to participate in a program called, Dress for Excellence. One day each week, all of 2nd grade at our school will dress as professionals in the hopes that grades, conduct, and overall performance will be at their peak. Thanks to your generous contributions, I will have assistance in outfitting my students with uniform shirts for success.
