This year, my students really enjoyed being able to choose different types of seating throughout our classroom. We had a few plastic, red stools at our reading table. I noticed that students flocked to these seats, but they were not really what we needed. The students noticed Hokki Stools in other classrooms and thought they would be a great addition to our classroom. These stools would not only be used for our 60 minute reading period, but also throughout our day as an alternative seating option. Hokki Stools inspire movement and better support for a child's posture. Research has shown that movement increases a student's ability to learn and attain information. I would love to see this opportunity given to the students in my classroom!
