My students need manipulatives so they can have hands on learning. They will also use these to go on imaginary shopping trips, vacations around the world, amusement parks, baseball games, and many more imaginary trips my students otherwise would not be able to experience. These students normally never leave the town we live in, therefor learning and using their imagination to travel to a certain place is all they have. Our classroom is an older portable building, therefore the comfy A-Z carpet squares to sit on during whole group will bring excitement to my students. The carpet squares I chose have the alphabet on them, so my students can learn and sit at same time. The Frog Street deluxe has a variety of manipulatives that my students will use in their science, math, construction, and pretend and learn centers. My students will enjoy learning from these centers.
