Our school is committed to 21st Century classrooms. We are a 1:1 technology school but our students need comfortable learning spaces. The addition of these two futons will allow students to "ditch the desk" and feel at home in our classroom. They will help in creating a classroom family of learners. By creating cozy couch collaborations corners, students will enhance interpersonal skills while increasing academic knowledge. Please help us build our learning community so that our classroom can have the learning spaces for small group rotations/learning center areas. The addition of the 2 futons and their versatility will also provide opportunities for movement to students who have difficulty sitting still.
