Five years old children love to sit and lay on the floor but sitting on the cold concert floor is not very comfortable. This is why our class needs a classroom carpet with enough definable sitting spots for 20+ students. This carpet will aid in learning by giving my students a comfortable place to sit. The carpet has definable areas that help teach personal space and boundaries. If I need the kids to sit in a circle, I will ask them to sit on a bumblebee. When needing them to sit in rows, I will ask them to sit on the numbers. I can also use the carpet to teach letters, numbers, and colors.
