Having a set of iPads will increase the resources my students will have available to help strengthen their writing skills. There are specific apps and websites that help the students better understand grammar and proper writing. This is a big intimidation to 4th graders that have never really been exposed to all of the grammar rules. Also, there are specific apps that will help special education students become successful writers. The app allows the student to speak their thoughts into the iPad. The app will then type out the essay and read it back to the student. This will help accommodate the student with their specific needs, while making them feel comfortable as writers. Your generous donation will help my underprivileged students develop an excitement for writing. With your help they will be able to look forward to learning new things everyday through the use of technology.
