I teach Science and Social Studies to all fourth graders at a school with 100% free breakfast and lunch through a federal grant. My students are such eager learners! Although most students face daily challenges at home, they come to school every day ready to learn and give 100%. With a wide range of abilities, strengths, and struggles, I continue to strive to give them the best experiences each day. I make my classroom a warm, welcoming, and hard-working environment that encourages all students to succeed. The advancement of technology allows me to differentiate learning more easily for all students, but more resources can be incorporated in my instruction to further make this possible. I want to give my students the right tools to ensure life long learning and success through core standards and character education.
