When students are given diverse choices to read and also are given engaging choices to practice reading skills, students are motivated and excited to learn. With resources such as the three mini iPads I requested, my students will be fully immersed in practicing their reading in many different ways. At such a pivotal age, technology can add that extra support and excitement to what some children see as a chore. The iPads will be able to be used during Daily 5 centers as a resource for writing research, listening to reading, or practicing targeted skills. Help bring the excitement of the 21st century into my classroom.
