Having a set of stability ball seating in my classroom will allow students to focus better and provide more opportunities for students to achieve at their greatest potential. Research shows that "sitting still" isn't always good for children. Having a learning environment that plays off of their natural tendencies of physical movement will enable my students to concentrate on more important things like problem solving. The balls will help students sit up straight and engage the muscles and the parts of their brains needed to remain balanced on a large ball. The balls will provide benefits such as better posture, engaged minds, help with attention challenged students, and a happier class climate.
