The stopwatch, screwdriver kit, batteries, and other materials will help my students learn basic mechanical and engineering skills by using critical thinking skills to create a real-world racing setting. The students will design a track and then create it on the school grounds. They will race Remote control cars on the track they create. Using the hose provided in this grant. The batteries and tools will be used to fix and modify their trucks as maintenance is essential to everyday living. This project focuses on cross-curricular concepts but also social and emotional skills such as team building, responsibility, and the beautification of our school.
