My second graders are coming to me this fall after a chaotic year and a half of pandemic learning. These kids are from a variety of backgrounds and bring many different experiences to the table. Every day, my goal is to provide them with authentic learning experiences. My kiddos love to read because they are allowed to read about what interests them. My kids love to write because they are free to write about what they know and like. My kids love math because they explore and ask questions and come to understanding on their own. Second graders grow immensely over the course of the year. They become more independent and responsible, while maintaining their unique personalities. I love my second graders, and everything that you give through Donors Choose makes their learning experiences so much better.
