This graduation regalia will inspire these hard-working, dedicated kids to feel like the scholars they are by commemorating their kindergarten graduation and setting them on a path to college. These students have been on a college campus and it has opened their eyes to the endless possibilities their future holds. Their first field trip was to Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas- my alma mater. They were fascinated and excited about the possibility of "reading and eating and playing" with all of their friends at such a beautiful place when they grow up. Providing my scholars with graduation regalia will commemorate the beginning of their academic careers and remind them to continue to be risk-takers, innovators, thinkers, inquirers, and fearless in their pursuit of a good education.
