Students in my STEAM and Project Lead the Way classes use Legos to build lots of different things. The STEAM group uses them to create scenes for stop animation films and structures for science activities. Project Lead the Way uses Legos to build robotics structures that are powered using a Microbit and separate motors. They currently use carboard boxes, and hot glue can only do so much! I also teach a career prep class and we use these in communication practices where students have to build structures using communication and not visual references. They are a great tool all around!
