Teaching young students has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl at the age of 4. I've been teaching for 19 years and I can say that now more than ever, we are dependent on our community to help us with this challenging but ever so needed endeavor. Many times I have children that come to school with too many things on their minds and unfortunately education isn't one of them. Many of them need a safe place, physical nourishment, and love. My school family provides in all areas for these students. And it's through the generous community affiliated with Donors Choose that helps provide things on the educational front. I'm so very honored and blessed to play a small part in helping today's students be tomorrow's leaders.
