Writing should be a fun experience for students. Students will take more ownership if they have their own composition notebook. Students can personalize them and make them their own. Our 21st Century learners communicate in text talk and short phrases. Our writer's notebook will help students to become effective communicators. Students will learn that writing is a continuous process. Our young writers will be able take their notebooks with them to jot their ideas down. Their ideas can be saved and continued on throughout the day. Writing becomes a way of expression that will help our learners become greater communicators and life long learners.
