All children are unique in their learning styles. It is my job as their first grade teacher to support them in recognizing what helps them learn best. Students will ask themselves, "Does standing, sitting or wiggling on a Wobble stool make me a better learner?" Supporting authentic learning begins with offering students choices. My first graders saw the Wobble stools in a fellow teacher's classroom and asked if we could get them as well. The stools we have now are the typical four legged variety and do not withstand a student's attempt to wiggle. I know that if they were given a choice to wiggle or not wiggle, my students would wiggle and be happier and healthier! Kore Wobble Stools in my classroom will help create the choices they need.
