I am a new teacher with a goal of incorporating flexible seating into my first grade classroom! After plenty of research, I have came to the conclusion that these stability wobble chairs will benefit my students tremendously! I also plan on having other seating options in my classroom such as bean bag chairs, rug options, stability balls, seating disks, and mini couch, pillows, and a few traditional seats. My students will benefit from these flexible seating options as they get to choose which seating option works best for them in their learning environment. Being first grade students, they are unable to stay seated for long periods of time so it is important to switch up the environment in the classroom.
