My students are mesmerized by technology. They think they are playing but they are building foundations in math and reading when playing games on the computer. Only having four student workstations in our classroom limits the amount of exposure my students have to technology. A set of Kindle Fire tablets would enable my students to have many more opportunities to have their needs met as young learners. Access to technology will help my students stay engaged, create more diversity in learning, and allow for a richer experience in all content areas. With a set of tablets for my students, I will also be able to maintain a high level of engagement, allowing me to work with students in small groups or as individuals.
