I have a energetic group of 4th graders. We work together in groups to solve problems and come up with ideas. This type of learning can get really noisy. However, in my opinion it is one of the best ways to learn. This year I am changing the way I'm teaching math and I'm giving my students more freedom to choose how they want to learn. They will be able to use a variety of math manipulatives, games and other resources in order to really help them understand the concepts we are learning.
