Having the virtual reality camera and viewer headsets will provide the growth and expansion of 21 Century skills as well as computer and technology skills. Students will experience science rather than just reading about it; they will connect to their learning. Students will be able to step into a crime scene and become a crime scene investigator gathering evidence. Students will design, build and ride their own roller coaster using Newton's Laws of Motion. Students will arrive on Earth's moon via space shuttle, step out and drive a land rover on the surface of the moon. The world will come alive for those who may, otherwise, never have an opportunity to live on their own or to travel. How much more exciting could science be in a classroom? Students will engage in higher order thinking skills as they collaborate, communicate and create together in the classroom based on the common virtual reality experience. This is how to reach students where they are and prepare them for the world after high school.
