I am a K-5 reading intervention teacher at an engineering magnet elementary school. I work with many sweet, loving students who are eager to learn to read. Most of our students are eligible to receive free and reduced lunch. We have a large population of minority students and students whose parents do not speak English. These students are faced with many challenges but the continue to overcome these challenges with hard work and perseverance.
