I choose this book, Everything You Need to Ace Science in One Big Fat Notebook, as it provides visuals and student friendly explanations to science topics we learn both in 7th and 8th grade. Students will have this book readily available to them for vocabulary lessons. The students will be using these also in station activities as there are activities built into the book for deeper understanding. If the students have questions and are unable to find information in the provided science textbook or simply do not understand the explanation given, they will have this book as an additional research tool. This resourceful book covers the Louisiana Standards and will be a very useful tool to use in my science classroom.
