Every week students have been staying after school to run in the running club in order to improve their overall health. Police officers have also been present to help promote positive relationships with law enforcement as well as to keep us safe as we run through the neighborhood park. The students are learning to develop social skills, healthy habits, and positive relationships with role models in the community. By allowing us to attend our districts 5k, our students will be able to work towards a goal and feel successful in the process! Having them complete a 5k would be a great way to finalize our first year of running club.

About my class
