Third grade is a huge curriculum change for kids. We move from learning to read into reading to learn. Help my classroom and my students get their hands on a variety of non-fiction materials that relate to the diverse world we live in. When kids are able to put independent reading titles in their hands and use topics that are interesting and intriguing, they will dive into their reading with fluency, accuracy, and understanding. Help me expand my classroom library to include a variety of genres related to non-fiction that allow students to explore, be curious, and generate knowledge of our world!
