Chromebooks in my grade 6 classroom will allow for a student-centered innovative classroom in which students become part of the learning process. Students will be able to write and edit notes efficiently, access the Internet, and collaboratively share ideas daily. Chromebooks will change the culture of my classroom. Students will be given more responsibility to work together- promoting team building, friendships, and positive peer evaluation. Chromebooks will provide us with the resources to study topics such as: civil rights, teen activists, modern heroes, and issues that matter to middle school children. Chromebooks will allow for quick and immediate feedback to students, and is an easy way to track student participation.
