My school is a low income school. We have about 62% on the free and reduced-price lunch program. Many of our students face a lot of challenges everyday with living in unpleasant home environments. Despite being looked down upon by most of the community, the students rise to the challenge. The students are great students and very accepting of one another. They welcome new students with open arms. They are accepting of differences and everyone feels welcome at our school. I am proud to work in such a great school with such wonderful little people.
