These supplies will provide the necessary tools to support them in my fifth grade classroom through literacy, math, art, and unit studies. These materials already have a place in my classroom. Pocket folders and binders will be used as an organizational piece to help bridge the transition to middle school next year. Ziploc baggies are used to store student materials in language arts and science. Color pencils will be used to create various projects through multiple subjects. Composition notebooks will be used for writing, science journaling, and reading. Pencils and pencil bags will be used throughout our school days to write with, brainstorm ideas with and even store pencils with. Glue sticks will be used for art and other subjects for different projects. I look forward to seeing their eyes light up knowing that they will have everything they need to create, explore, design, doodle, write, and produce! Many of my students are considered at risk and need differentiation both in the classroom and also with additional support.
