In my kindergarten classroom the students have tables for their work space and there are four to five students per table. This makes it very difficult to keep leveled books and folders separate for each group. Having seat sacks for each student will allow them to access their materials immediately and accurately. These seat sacks will maximize learning and help me with differentiation. Each week the students will "book shop" for books on their level. The seat sacks will provide them will a sense of responsibility because they will have to empty and refill it each week. The seat sacks will also come in handy for independent reading. The students will be able to grab the seat sacks off of their chair and bring it any where around the room. Having seat sacks for each student will allow me to organize work that is geared to each students level. They will also help the students grow independently as well as academically.
