My third graders are full of love and excitement. They are the one of the most important things in my life. My favorite saying is, "I call my students my kids because in our year together they become forever a part of my heart." That couldn't be more true. I love my kiddos and want nothing but the best for them and for their education! My goal for each of my students is for them to find a love for learning and what I think is most important, reading. In my classroom we do a lot of read alouds and my kids want to spend as much time as they can listening to me read a book or with their hands on a book. The joy they have when they are listening or reading a book is a constant reminder of why I became a teacher. This is my second year teaching and my first year teaching first grade so I still need materials that I have not yet collected. My students are very important to me and I want the absolute best for them.
