My project involves me teaching a group of 26 students at a Title I school. I am a highly qualified teacher who does not teach from textbooks. My students work creatively and I plan learning activities that are interactive. In order to instruct in this way, I need markers, journals, privacy partitions, colored pencils, multi-media tools, lots of pencils, color, space, and time. I have depleted my resources, I have spent hundreds of my personal dollars, and I have another semester to go! My school is very poor, so it's all on me.
