In a school where students are struggling. I want to help students by utilizing technology to motivate them to want to read. I will use the iPods and tablets as centers with books downloaded for students to read. I will also load games as reward for students. We are teaching students so early about so many different things and having technology accessible to them at an early age is definitely encouraging a love of learning. With teachers having so much to do and so little time. It is essential to utilize every moment meaningfully. I believe when we give students the opportunity to use technology they learn faster and easier without even knowing that they are learning. I plan to use the tables and iPods to download books and games to aid struggling learners and help enrich advanced learners. While students need to learn how to work independently these would allow them to complete reading, language, spelling and math activities daily while I can teach small group lessons to make the biggest impact on learning. Please help make this dream a reality.
