I have the pleasure of teaching amazing young scientists, who are 90%- 97% economically disadvantaged, high risk, or offered free reduced lunch. I love how my students do not allow labels to define their greatness, but understands that greatness truly burns within rather than out. Many of our students can not personally afford the admissions fee for the Museum of Natural Science, due to being economically disadvantaged. Some of our students have reside in Houston all their lives, but have never observed the greater areas of Houston, beyond their home communities. I believe that my students will highly appreciate an opportunity to explore and discover the Museum of Natural Science to further extend their content knowledge in Evolution and Natural selection. I believe that the Museum of Natural Science is a great way to inspire and effectively educate our students, while accommodating a large ratio of students at one time.
