In my classroom I teach guided math in small groups. After meeting with me students have the opportunity to practice what they have learned. I believe students learn best when they have the opportunity to practice in a hands-on, fun way. I'm requesting one set of Math Activity Stations. These centers will allow them to remain engaged and further process the content. The hands-on materials are especially helpful to English Language Learners and reading support students who make up a large portion of my classroom this year. I am planning on sharing the center materials with my entire third grade team of teachers so that all of our third grade students have the opportunity to share in the fun! The set is durable and should allow many years of engaged learning for our students!
