One major change in schools this year will be that we will all be wearing a mask! A major concern of mine is that my Pre-K students will have difficulty hearing my voice from behind my mask or face shield. While reading books, singing with the kids, teaching in a whole group setting, or directing the whole class during noisy "free-choice centers", etc, it is very important to be heard equally by all students and to maintain a calm and pleasing tone that helps promote a happy and calm classroom. I used this in the past when I taught in another school, and it is WONDERFUL! At the announcement of our district requiring teachers to wear masks all day this coming year, I knew I needed to find a way to get this for my classroom and the kids in my room. This will allow me not to have to raise my voice to speak beyond my mask , and will allow every child to hear me equally.  I can keep my voice quiet and calm, and every child will be able to hear me very clearly...even while wearing a mask! This is truly incredible technology that allows the kids all over the room to hear you the same as the child standing right next to you; yet it isn't like a speaker turned up loud and you cannot hear it outside the classroom doors.  Please consider donating and help a Pre-K teacher in need.
